Chef Tim Powers knew he wanted to do something extraordinary from a young age. Little did he know, his love of the culinary arts would launch him into a whirlwind adventure that would lead to an exciting career in the hospitality industry. His love of country and growing desire to travel the world was accomplished through his distinguished service with the United States Coast Guard. He graduated with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America in California.  Chef Tim has cooked his way through Russia, Costa Rica and El Salvador as part of an Elite program where accomplished Chefs exchange their kitchens and make traditional dishes with innovative techniques. As an integral part of our international culinary team Chef Tim is always teaching and explaining culinary techniques to our guests and clients during tastings and presentations.

My favorite part about my job is being able to work with clients and really get creative with them. I grew up baking with my grandma, and like most future chefs, idolizing bakers on TV competition shows. I was able to hone my skills at the Culinary Institute LeNotre, and I have been with Bailey Connor Catering for the past 2 years.

Sequena Tate

She moved to Houston from St. Louis, Missouri in 2017.  She always had a passion for the hospitality industry from both event planning and catering perspectives. Sequena joined Bailey Connor Catering in the summer of 2019 as the Wedding Catering Manager. She first began to groom her event planning and management skills in 2014. She has had the pleasure of gaining experience from many industry sectors such as the NFL Alumni Association, Oil and Gas Conferences, and Bridal Tradeshows. She likes to make sure all her couples are reassured that she is here to be of service to them and celebrate their love story through food.
